New Combinations of Colors For Newborn Clothing

Years ago, if you were buying children’s clothing you would notice that they used color to separate the genders, and the majority of colors were pink or blue. This is no longer true. In fact, there are many new combination’s of colors that can be used in nurseries these days for either a boy or a girl and the rules about which color to use or not use are long gone. The trendy designer and luxury baby look is popular with all parents. The same thing is true in their clothes. There are so many newborn baby clothes and items to chose from and buy. The first things you set out to buy when you have a newborn are diapers, wipes and a few newborn outfits for day and night.

One of the first newborn outfits your cute baby will wear is probably something from the hospital, a simple tee shirt, a diaper, and a nice warm blanket. Besides the usual receiving blankets, most babies will go home wrapped up tight in a hand knit cap and blanket. For many people that are going home to a house full of people excited to see the newborn baby, that first take home outfit is important and marks a special time.

A staple item for newborn babies are the newborn onesies. Many outfits come in sets with some type of one piece with a snap bottom, long pants booties and perhaps a bib. These are a perfect first outfit for taking them home in, and many chic moms loves to find that perfect little outfit to share their precious new one with the world.

One of the most popular gifts is to have the item that you pick out be personalized by embroidering a name or initial, or maybe a special design. These items should probably be something other than clothing since the baby will grow very quickly and will not fit in a newborn size for very long. A blanket or a small pillow would be a good idea.
