Baby Headbands For Baby Girls

As a parent, you want to provide your cute baby girl the best things in life. You pamper her with your love, care, and material things that she needs. But isn’t it nice to give her something that you personally made? Things like crocheted sweaters, baby quilt, and baby headbands.

All you need to do is gather the right materials which you can buy at your nearest craft shop and follow these simple steps:
Materials:
Soft fabric, 1 inch wide and 15 inches in length (any color of your choice)
A pair of scissors
Elastic band
Needle
Thread
Fabric glue
Small ribbons and other decorative charms

1. Fold the soft fabric lengthwise.
2. Using a needle and thread, sew the sides of the fabric together. Reverse the fabric by bringing in the sewn side inwards.
3. After reversing it, put the elastic band through the hole. Get the both ends of the elastic band, tie it securely. Make sure before tying it; try it on the head of your baby to ensure that it fits well. The headband should not be too loosed because it will fall off your child’s head and not too tight because it will make your baby uncomfortable.
4. To fully finish your headband, sew the both ends of the fabrics together to seal it.
5. Now that you have your baby headband, you can now start decorating.
6. You can use any decorative items that you like, the simpler the better though. You can sew in little crystals to make it shiny. You can also put tiny ribbons; simply glue the ribbons into the fabric headband using a fabric glue to ensure that it won’t easily fall off.
7. Another great idea is by sewing in one side of a small Velcro strap on the headband, about an inch or less. The other side of the Velcro will be sewn into a ribbon or charm. Now, you can change the decoration of your headband anytime and how often you want it.

Aside from making your girl’s cute baby headbands, you can also make it as a gift to a friend’s daughter or better yet, make it your very own business. The headbands are very good complements to otherwise cute baby clothes.
